Finalmente, fortaleçam-se no Senhor e no seu forte poder.
Vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para poderem ficar firmes contra as ciladas do Diabo, pois a nossa luta não é contra seres humanos, mas contra os poderes e autoridades, contra os dominadores deste mundo de trevas, contra as forças espirituais do mal nas regiões celestiais.
Por isso, vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para que possam resistir no dia mau e permanecer inabaláveis, depois de terem feito tudo.
Assim, mantenham-se firmes, cingindo-se com o cinto da verdade, vestindo a couraça da justiça e tendo os pés calçados com a prontidão do evangelho da paz.
Além disso, usem o escudo da fé, com o qual vocês poderão apagar todas as setas inflamadas do Maligno.
Usem o capacete da salvação e a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.
Orem no Espírito em todas as ocasiões, com toda oração e súplica; tendo isso em mente, estejam atentos e perseverem na oração por todos os santos.
Orem também por mim, para que, quando eu falar, seja-me dada a mensagem a fim de que, destemidamente, torne conhecido o mistério do evangelho, pelo qual sou embaixador preso em correntes.
Orem para que, permanecendo nele, eu fale com coragem, como me cumpre fazer.

Para encerrar, lembro que Deus é forte e quer que vocês sejam fortes. Tomem tudo que o Senhor providenciou para vocês — armas eficazes, feitas com o melhor material. Vocês terão de usá- las para sobreviver às emboscadas do Diabo. Não se trata de um jogo com amigos no fim de semana, uma diversão esquecida em poucas horas. É um estado de guerra permanente, uma luta de vida ou morte contra o Diabo e seus anjos.
Estejam preparados. Vocês lutam contra algo muito maior que vocês. Aceitem toda a ajuda que puderem, toda arma que Deus providenciou, para que no fim da batalha vocês ainda estejam de pé. Verdade, justiça, paz, fé e salvação são mais que palavras. Aprendam a utilizá- las. Vocês vão precisar delas a vida inteira. A Palavra de Deus é uma arma indispensável. A oração também é essencial nesta luta incessante. Orem o tempo todo, e com fé. Orem pelos irmãos na fé. Mantenham os olhos abertos. Encorajem- se mutuamente, para que ninguém venha a cair ou vacilar.
Também não se esqueçam de orar por mim. Orem para que eu saiba o que dizer e tenha a coragem de falar no tempo certo, explicando o mistério para todos:a Mensagem, que eu, pregador prisioneiro, fui incumbido de transmitir

And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
And don’t forget to pray for me. Pray that I’ll know what to say and have the courage to say it at the right time, telling the mystery to one and all, the Message that I, jailbird preacher that I am, am responsible for getting out.
